Meet Lucky, our newest member of the family. Isn't he cute? He is such as a sweet puppy. We got him on Monday. He 's a mutt that the Pet Rescue Club at my school rescued this weekend. I brought him home to see how he would do with the kids. He did great. The kids warmed right up to him and he warmed up to them. I think he is going to make a great family dog!

Ah, yeah. Once again the cosmic forces reassert themselves to restore the natural order to your life. After all, the number of years I've known you with a pet outnumber those without by 4 to 1 easily. It seems only appropriate and good that a pet find its way into your home. I'm glad you've taken him in.
Only, you seem to draw to yourself the same type of pet each time. Dog. Dog, dog. Dog, dog. Next time, how about a ferret? Those are fun to wake up to, especially when one slinks up Steve's pajama leg and you're there to enjoy the pandemonium. As Nemo-fied as Abby and Carter is right now, you could totally have gotten away with a fish. Or hey, a parrot! Steve could teach it the sketch (Oh, not again!); they have the equivalent intelligence of a 5-year-old, so you'd basically have 3 kids to feed, and the first 2 can teach it everything it needs to know to fit in. ("Squawk! Too bad, so sad!") What?...Aw, come on!
