Abby had her last soccer game this past Saturday. They were given medals after the game. She was also given a trophy on Tuesday night when the team met for a end of the season get together. She has grown so much as the season as gone on. She has made so much progress. She will start the indoor soccer soon with her same team members. She is really excited.

Watching Abby play is one of the most priceless things I've seen her do. I was describing to Sheri some time afterward about the remarkably prosocial manner in which young children like her play - and how I wish we adults weren't so ready to squelch those instincts. It really was a vivid demonstration for me, one that I've reflected on several times since. I don't think I'll ever forget that.
I'm glad she wants to keep pursuing it. I'm glad you're making it possible for her to do so.
